Festivals and Parades

There’s More than Mardi Gras, Y’all.

Mande Milkshakers

We have more festivals than you can shake a stick at.

The Spring and Fall seasons are full of festivals and events. The biggest problem you will face is deciding on which to attend. Whether it’s food, music, antiques, or art, we can find just about any reason to have a festival. You’ll be sure to hear great music, taste delicious food, and have a great time.

Covington Antiques and Uniques Festival

Of course, we have Mardi Gras with too much King Cake, parades, and beads hanging from the trees. (Did I say “too much King Cake”? I’m not sure there is such a thing.) I’ll cover all that, but there are so many other celebrations to note. There are some unique ones, too. You can see a push-mow parade, doggie parades, Busker festival, Wooden Boat festival, and so much more! I want to experience them all. So, come along for the (float) ride. And if you know about a festival or parade on the Northshore or surrounding area that I should see, let me know by leaving a comment.
